Loves Rubberstamps-Give Thanks Challenge

With Thanksgiving fast approaching, it is time for us to all reflect on the things we are thankful for.  What a change a year brings but I have had some great moments with my family/friends and look forward to many more.  I am also thankful I do not have to cook for Thanksgiving WHOA!!

This week's challenge at Loves Rubberstamps is:

Give Thanks

We want to see cards celebrating Thankfulness, Gratefulness, Thank You Cards, or Thanksgiving theme

We are being sponsored by Saturated Canary and I was able to play along with one of my favorite stamps.

This lovely image is called Free Hugs. Now the first thing you may notice is the sentiment. I actually masked over the original sentiment and added my own that fit better with the challenge.  I used my Copics to color the image and my favorite Authentique Thankful paper pad set (think I am one my last sheets on this one!!) . Had to throw in some bling from my stash and my bottlecap embellishment with Flower Soft.
Hope all who celebrate have a very Happy and Safe Thanksgiving.

Loves Rubberstamps-Saturated Canary Inspiration

Welcome back to another Monday Morning Inspirations for Loves Rubberstamps. Sorry for the lighting issues I am having here. It is already a crazy week with prepping for Thanksgiving and of course two kids are sick :-(.

I decided to use some of my favorite Saturated Canary Images called Krafty Kate. Of course I used my trusty Copics to color this image.  The paper is from MME and I also went a bit die happy on this one.  I used my La La Land Filigree Corner Die and my MFT Dainty Lace Border Die on the bottom.  I was going for a more distressed look with the card.

Be sure to stop by and see all the fabulous new items added to the shop and of course to get some of the great products still in stock.
Have a great day and see you back tomorrow for our challenge.

Happy Veterans Day and some Fall Inspiration

Before I get started, just want to take a moment to thank all of our past and current military for their service to our country.  Does bring a smile to my face to see my daughters say "Thank you Grandpa...we miss you" today. Saluting you in heaven today Dad!

On another note, I decided to have a messy crafty moment inspired by my leaf covered lawn. Today for Loves Rubberstamps, I am showcasing MFT Pure Innocence, Corn Maze

The paper is from Authentique Thankful pad. I colored the image with my Copics and paper pieced her outfit. The "leaves" effect was done with my Flower Soft Autumn Collection.  The birdy is from my stash of resin I have.

So Thankful @ Yumi & Fumi.

Today starts a new challenge at Yumi and Fumi Handmade! The challenge for the next 2 weeks is:

Create a Thank You card.  Don't forget that we now allow ANY stamped image!!! You HAVE to use a hand-colored image on your "sentiment only" cards allowed. However, if you use a Y&FH image your name will be added a maximum of 1 extra time after the last name in Inlinkz. Remember also....only 1 entry per person.

I saw this fabulous Youtube video on making a pocket card by Indah and liked it so much I figured I would give it a shot. I had to do a bunch of them for my daughter's thank you cards for her birthday party.  It was so easy and cute to do. I used Yumi with a Messenger bag.  I did stamp her in Grey ink versus black to give it a different softer looker.  Colored with my Copics and did my own plaid work on the skirt. The paper is from my DCWV paper stack but which ones I am not sure.
